WP is a powder formulation that is mixed with water to form a suspension before spraying. WP formulations may contain one or more active ingredients that are mixed and mixed with surfactants and other solvents to release the active form.
WP formulation contains a wetting agent, the function of the wetting agent is to increase the success of the pesticide by ensuring the effectiveness of the active ingredients in the suspension.
WP formulation also contains dispersing agent. The function of this dispersing agent is to prevent the WP formulation from caking and to prolong its storage life.
Active Ingredients: Buckler M 80WP contains 800 g of mancozeb per 1 kg.
Mancozeb
It is a fungicide of the non-systemic di-thiocarbamate group with topical and inhibitory properties. Mancozeb is composed of two di-thiocarbamates – “Maneb” and “Zineb”. Mancozeb inhibits the synthesis of amino acids in fungal cells and destroys their functionality.
